A "GBRHM" 2009 re-enactment production: The Battle of Haut-Le-Wastia - Dinant (Belgium)

What is this event about ?

This event shows up the different steps of combat led by French forces in 1940, occupation by German troops, collaboration, resistance and liberation by Western Allies.

There is also a commemoration event in front of the momument dedicated to the French forces who fought -and died- there in Belgium in 1940.

Then follow event road panels (from the museum go to the chapel, turn left then after to road speed limiters find the restaurant, then turn right. At this moment you will find two roads, move on the right one during approximately 1 kilometer).

Personal note

It was an opportunity to follow re-enactors of the GBMRH groups through their different sections, each of them representing a different country: France, Belgium, Germany (including Waffen SS), Great-Britain and USA. They were already present at Vaux-sur-Sûre and at Bon-Secours. A few of them were already present in Bastogne for Historia Mundi.
