Personal note

The Dodge ride on Saturday was an exciting experience, unfortunately it was very cold (minus five degrees).
I did not enter Bastogne on Sunday as foreseen by the ABC programme because I chose to make a photo reportage about the "GBRHM" 2008 re-enactment production: Battle of the Bulge 1944 - Vaux-Sur-Sûre (Belgium).

Instead of participating to the Dodge ride in the morning there was also the possibility to take part in the Bastogne historical walk (choices of 6, 12, 20 or 30 Kms) with free hot drink at rest stops starting from 8.00 AM at:
Porte de Trèves
Rue Gustave Delperdange
B-6600 Bastogne

Contact Maurice Sperandieu to get more information about the historical walk.

Year of visit: December 2008
